BLACK BART- Mini 1656 Flat

The same size as the Mini Angle and just a scaled down version of the standard 1656, this flat faced pusher is a great fish catcher. With a smooth swimming action that sees it dive nice and deep, it also tends to get eaten a lot by tuna, which is perhaps due to its' steady swimming action and deep dive. The Mini 1656 Flat is a popular choice on the long corner or even the shotgun position, but will also work anywhere in the spread. Good colour choices in this model are PUBK, Petro, BKG and GO. Rig on 200-400lb leader and 8/0-9/0 hook sets, or a favourite of ours is the size 40 Pakula Dojo Hook in either light or heavy gauge.
